Travel to INDIA and NEPAL - 2005

 

 

1) Of the Eyes for the Himalayas.

 

Our action is declined in several stages and this over several years in order to work out a perennial action.

 

* Collection of specific drugs.   To date, 35 kgs of medicine corresponding to a request on behalf of the Refugee camps Tibétains in India and to Nepal were collected (eye lotions, antibiotics with broad spectrum, bandages, etc…) and will be conveyed in Nepal in February 2006 by the voluntary ones.

 

* The specific participation at the expenses of operation of the cataract for particularly urgent cases.

 

* Assistance with the mobile camps in Tibet for operations of the cataract.

 

In September 2005, 2 voluntary on the spot left in order to evaluate the needs and started emergency aid:

 

- Gift with the Camps of new Tibétains refugees,  

- Gift With  Kyisang:   76 year old refugee, seriously wounded (collar of the broken fémur) at the time of an accident, it had to borrow for his operation and his care, the social security not existing....  

- Sponsorship of Noryak:   83 year old granny, exiled tibétaine without resource and family, currently lodged in the Center of old people of Dharamsala, in India of north.

It should be specified that the old people are not accomodated durably that if they are sponsored.

 

 

2) With our partners:   Sponsorships and equitable Trade.

 

* The House of Himalayas.

 

Through this action of ground, more than 250 families and people of various areas of Himalayas are concretely helped thanks to the contest of many godfathers.

Several projects of sponsorships of children, old people and monks are currently in hand.

- Village of refugees of Chauntra, Bir, Dharamsala.

- Monastery of Séra (India of the South).

 

.   Help for Spalzes reached of rickets in the form of financial gift (surgical operation and rehabilitation).  

 

* Tendrelactiontibet   

 

Equitable trade and Vocational training.   Provence.Himalaya dealt with the Sangye young person who through studies of painting of Thankas sees an assured professional future.

 

 

3) a flag for Tibet  

 

This action which has a European dimension consists in requiring of the mayors to expose the flag tibétain in a permanent way on their town hall as a sign of solidarity with the Tibétain people and this until the authorities of Peking and the government tibétain in exile concluded an agreement on a new statute from full autonomy for Tibet.

To date more than 450 communes left fascinating this operation (including 45 in PACA).

Requests in the course of finalization:   The steps were made for approximately 20 town halls of which the town hall of CORRENS which will raise the flag at the time of a ceremony fixed at May 14, 2006.
